ik,
sounds aren't that important issue as
109's FM and how it bleeds E ?

All planes seems to bleed E really fast.

What do You think ? Is 109's FM correct ?

ps. Kats said on another thread that there
were never such a plane as 109G-10 !?!

Well so far I've only flown AH offline at a friend's house (I have a mac). I can't say I've studied the fm's much.

109G-10's were older 109's modified to bring their peformance up to almost the level of the 109K, from a certain point of view kats is correct.

I've found landings and takeoffs in AH to be more difficult than WB. Spins are very easy in AH compared to WB, and AH is generally easier to fly with its lack of stick force modelling.

Lack of stick force modelling?  Try diving a 109 at 450mph.

Back to the original post, the stall horn sounds like a wooddonut trying to get in through the fuselage.

ra, what's modelled in AH is that you could only deflect the ailerons and elevator 10-20% or so at 450mph in the 109. What I mean by stick forces is the ammount of time it takes to go, for example, from full left aileron deflection to full right aileron deflection. Right now in AH you can do that in a nanosecond, while in RL and in WB it take a second or so.

AH's stick force modelling is the same as the old WB-system...there's a max limit to how much the pilot can pull and I wouldnt be surprised to see that that number is 50lbs  .
In anycase, it means that in AH you can pull 50lbs from side to side as many times per second you can pull your stick (~ 2lbs).
It makes unrealisticly quick maneuvers very easy.

That stall uhh clacker scares the hell out of me. I always think Im being shot at. I almost never get into a stall situation now hehe, BnZ then run for it. Speeds always over 200 IAS.

--ik--,

on WB's "stick force modelling" (which I'll call damping):  It's way overdone.  Try to do an 8-point...or even 4 point roll like we've all seen at airshows...can ya do it?  I dint think so.  Now, I do think some damper on control inputs is appropriate, but WB right now does it TOO MUCH.  It's like they put the default dampers in the stick set-up to full!  As for how fast you can do it in AH, a nanosecond?  heheh I know, I know, you were exageratting for effect, but for others: it's mapped to your ACTUAL stick position.  FWIW, I'm looking forward to the day when REAL force feedback does away with artificial limiters

It sounds like a "stick shaker" like you'd find in biz jets and commercial aircraft.  See, the problem here is that you little fighter types are experiencing what us bus drivers and bombers have known about for a while.  Just relax... smooth on the stick.  That way your martini (resting on the throttle quadrant) doesn't get upset.
