Hartmann's Bf109G-6 finished(again..)
« on: April 14, 2004, 08:04:48 PM »
Added the tulip by hand.

I'm sorry that the hand made tulips are definately not as good looking as the hard-coded ones - some parts are 'stretched' or 'warped' since that's how the BMP file is 'wrapped'.

But as things go, I don't think it's all that bad.

lucull, if you see this, please delete the first G-6 skin at the SkinDep by the date of April 14, 2004. Now, my E-mail server is futzed up and I couldn't send you any of the updated material. :(

Did you make a G-6 template or did you modify your G-10 template?

I don't really create a template Batz :)

I just "extract" the needed stuff from the finished material to produce templates for the specific plane type. Sort of working in "reverse sequence" if you will.. :)

At any rate, the G-6 I've done uses about 80% same panel lines and rivets as the G-10, except the rest 20% are modified accordingly.
