Fester, Lok, myself and several others were tooling around in gvs and realized that with all the ground clutter and small bushes - it's hard as hell to spot other gvs. You pretty much have to use the gunsight zoom to scan and do recon. Was wondering about the difficulty of adding a "Binocular" setting. Basically a full zoom view that can pan / tilt like the gunner position, but has full 360 degrees scan radius and full vertical scan also. (spotting and Id'ing planes)
Would basically have the same unrestricted movement as a feild gunner. You can put the funny binocular sight on it too

Would this simulate a tank commander with an open hatch? If so, I wouldn't mind having the commander/gunner vulnerable when using this position.

If you're going to have a 'open hatch' commanders position, MG rounds and tank rounds exploding near by should 'kill' the commander position.

You can just get in the pintle, zoom in, and use F8(pan) to accomplish this alreaady.

dover...pintle on panzer doesnt have full 360 degree rotation...

You can rotate your head in pan view 360 degrees left/right and up/down...

I would like to see a Commander Posistion different from the Pintle Posistion...

To prevent death from Explosions and MG fire you could hit a button, and Button up which would disable your Commander and Pintle Views.

Another neat feature would be a Bail Out option for Armor, Where you could jump out of your Tank, If it was burning or disabled and run back to a freindly field.
