"Faking It" on TLC
« on: April 19, 2004, 01:01:00 PM »
Anybody catch this last night?  OMG that is some funny stuff.  The Maine preacher who becomes a car salesman in Vegas was an interesting study in culture clash (the owner of Timboru Dodge was phat Latin loaded up with bling-bling complete with hopper sedan and sunglasses he never took off) but the friendships they forged were pretty cool.

The second one with the college professor who becomes a Chippendales dancer was much funnier, although I think the producers glossed over a lot of the physical training that was required, making it seem simpler than it really was.  I was in stitches when the prof did his routine at the Old Ladies Home and one of the seniors turned and asked "is he going to take any more off?"  :rofl
