He's not a judge anymore. He's a lawyer ... I think that would qualify as a WMD.

Hmm, interesting topic you are broaching.

Oh well, guess we'll have to kill all lawyers and start again.

Really? We are just beginning to suffer the decissions of a new-full-of-tards goverment that won the elections by a scandalous manipulation of 200 spaniards deaths. Consider also that these opportunistics won the elections by a very small margin, and two weeks before the victory was considered total for the previous goverment.

News services here are reporting that 72% of the Spanish Population support withdrawing troops NOW.

Are you privy to a different perspective, living in Spain?

At the end of the day do you really need Spains support? The US can handle it without Spain, and theres probably less complications too.

How did we reneg on any commitment in WW2?

As a matter of fact, how did we abandon any ally in the above mentioned conflicts, save Vietnam?

He's obviously from the 28%... Aint it great  this democracy thing?

I support the troops coming back, didn't support sending them and on top of everything they are not helping anything or anyone, just keeping themselves alive.

I'm somewhat surprised  by the hurry, because I expected some UNSC diplomatic bartering that would keep the troops there, but last week contacts between the new gov. and USA officials seem to have turned that into wishful thinking.

Really? I was not aware about that "votation" ... Certainly, most people was against our involvment into the Iraq war operations, but this is different than withrawing the troops JUST NOW (the decission was took yesterday after some cocaine session), leaving the polish alone in the control of our zone, as well as all the iraq people that were being helped in a day by day basis by the spanish troops. It is just a demostration of the total lack of responsability of our new and inexperienced full-of-tards goverment.

In related news....30+ other countries are still in Iraq, helping out and working with the Coalition.

Don't blame all of Spain for the actions of this new guy.  Yes, they got their nose bloodied...and each to their own.  If their new get tough on terror policy is to retreat, they've got bigger problems than us.

What date did the US declare war on Germany and Japan (in fact who declared war n who first)? And what was the general feeling of voters regarding joining the war against Germany pre-Pearl Harbour?

Remember the civil uprising just after the 1st Gulf War which Saddam brutully put down?

What did the CIA do after they trained and armed the Afgani's to kick out the Soviets?

Just trying to point out its all a matter of perspective.

As long as the Spanish don't act like a bunch of a-holes veto'ing stuff in the UN you have to respect their decision. Its their choice not yours.
