This film is for entertainment purposes only. This is not a training film,dont try this at home.

This film is only about 1 1/2 minutes long,it shows How Not to fly the 190a8..

As film start,im draging 5 cons to help 10bears,but i was too far. I am now dragging 5 cons into 15 cons ahead of me to help Sox. again to far.. Never fly the 190 like this  

But it does show what the 190 can do at 20ft off the deck  

I die a nasty horrible death .. but took 5 with me.

If your trying to convince me that that 190 is not overmodel,this isnt the way to do it..

But it sure looked like a fun sortie though,nice

Wardog: now explain whats overmodelled in Fw190.. climbrate which is way below the numbers it did really?

Typhoon, watched your film, and I have to tell you that's EXACTLY how you fly it under those conditions. I was doing this all afternoon and could pick or choose when to leave. Good film!

I seen nothing in the film that had anything to do with climb rate. However i did see a Split S that woulda put a p51s nose into the dirt at that alt..

190 shouldnt handle that well at low alt ,who needs climb rate when you can turn it with a Spit?

well for once i agree with wardog(first time ever i believe). but you must admit wardog that you got to be good to exploit the turn of the 190,but as it stands it is almost no good at its intended mission,buff killin as most buffs seem to fly at the 25 to 30 k level where they just out clime ya and with the extreme fuel modifer you cant really take the time to kill a buff (not to mention you cant out run him either) so i figure they gave it the great turn so omeone would fly it. otherwise it would be a big fat slow headon  machine and nothin else.

just my opinion or best guess

cause htc doesent to be very talkative on the subject.

Wardog.

Ive have been stating that the 190 is overmodeled in AH as any of my previous post will show.

If im not mistaken the 190a8 was mostly used as a high alt interceptor against buffs with 109s allong to handle fighters.

However,the 190a8 here isnt modeled the same as in WB. It has good handling at low alt and it can turn well at any alt.

If they build it,i will fly it

The 190A8 model not the 190 in general. Extra armor extra heavy gunsect. LwW even build a strumbrock version with even more armor.

That would be the Fw190A-8/R8 Sturmbock (Battering Ram) with 2x13mm, 2x20mm and 2x30mm cannon, plus extra armour on the engine, wings, fuselage sides and armourglass canopy sides. .50's would just bounce off all that armour I hear  

Now, if we can just get them 2x20mm wingpods (making for 6x20mm total), plus all the other ground-pounding stores on the wings and centreline...
