General recommendations for a sound card
« on: April 15, 2004, 10:38:51 PM »
Folks,

Just looking for some recommendations for a more "up-to-date" sound card, than my 3-4 year old SoundBlaster Live! Value.  My system is generally pretty up to date otherwise - not pushing any 'envelopes' but in the middle of the pack, so to speak.  I run on WinXP Pro, using Intel Pentium processing in the 1.8GHz range.  RAM is at 512Mb DDR.  Vidcard is GEForce 3.

Any recommendations would be helpful :)

Regards,
leonid

You're back Leon ?

If you plan to change mobo the nforce chipset is quite good too.
