At this rate, your son may qualify to play in his own age group next year!

j/k ;)

Must be so cool to watch your kid's games. My dad used to coach - I hope to do the same one day.

Just Kidding Rip!, WTG! :D

How many games into the season?
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Thks all.  The rules in this first year of little league (his 3rd year of baseball) is still coach pitch from 46 feet, however that ball is doing about 35 mph with our pitching coach, quite a bit faster than other teams we've faced and noticed..however because of spring training with this faster ball speed, the kids are really belting it.  We're 4-1 with 8 games to go before the play-offs.  They count strikes that are swings, and you get only 7 pitches. They play 6 innings, and you cannot score more than 6 runs per inning, per team (otherwise last night it might have been 30-5 instead of 13-5 :D )

I figured out my sons avg. wrong, he's 26 hits of 30 at-bats. .866 I believe.  And he was dressed down by the coach after his grand slam for celebration during the base running.
  But I don't think he'll do that again.
