He is talking about the armed private 'police force' that is being used over there. Yes 'mercanaries' as you call them. Sure there is private contractors over there building water plants. I dont see why the iraqis cannot do it themselves though for half the cost.

I am serious. They had infrastructure before we came. They have qualified people and building contractors over there. I just do not understand why we have billions going to a company that recieved a no bid contract. Which is the point that really bothers me.

I find it interesting that Moore can speak so lowly of those private security types (a lot of whom are in the employ of the federal government anyway) whom are essentially out there assisting in the fight for his basic rights,  including (although not exclusive to) his right to continue making horse **** propoganda movies.


Actually, it's interesting to note that despite moores proclimations about how bad GW is, I don't remember GW ever doing anything at all to Moore.....you'd think that good ol' dubya would have had him disappeared by now....

Most of the infrastructure targets were taken out during GW 1.  They've had over 10 years to fix things.  What makes you think they can do it now?  If we weren't rebuilding stuff for them you lefties would be whining about that too.  Give me a break.

I am just whineing about the no bid contracts that we gave out. And they did have power and water for those 10 years you know. When we were not randomly hitting them with cruise missiles. Give me a break.

Taking out air defense targets shooting at aircraft enforcing the no fly zone is more like it.
You ever dealt with federal construction contracts?  I've been on both ends.  If they had put all the infrastructure contracts out to bid you guys would be whining about delays.
