Since I don't use the Il2 MAT Manager, and just the Il2 MAT program using some of the edited MAT and TGA files from before AEP was released - I had to do it manually.

Do a search for UltraEdit in the above thread, should be the third to last post that has mention of the settings that need to be changed. You can replace all entries of every MAT file at once using the Replace All option from the EDIT menu in UltraEdit.

UltraEdit is shareware, and can be found on Tucows - or just use Google if you don't want to use Tucows.

You need the MAT files, and TGA files if you don't want to use the default game's files for markings, from Aces' website to get this working. It makes the nationality markings look like they are actually ON the airplane, and use the same lighting as the airplane's 3D model compared to before where they were always flat.
