Cons now Black Squares??

Well installed the update and terrian looks great but on my 1st contact with a con,it a big black Square.. the Squade dissapears when con get under D2 then i cant see the plane at all. untill it 300 or 250 in front of me..

Is it just me or anyone else getting this.And does it annouy the hell out of you to?

Visual on cons before patch where perfect,so what exactly has happened here??

HT,any ideas,or is this how we are going to be seeing cons in the future?

Personally,i cant stand it.Look very unrealistic. Hope its just a Video card or driver problem im having with this update.
Also lost my 2nd Hat Switch with update.

 I have the same exact problem. Maby its a settings thing for your 3d card. ive got a v770 tnt2. Any body got any settings that work.

V770 ultra here and I have the same problem. In fact, I can barely see cons even under d2.
This is and issue that needs to be fixed muy pronto-hopefully in v0.35

ditto. In hi rez the cons are a large strobing black box that does change over to nothing (but I stil lhave the icon) till the
con is closer.

I have noticed something. The landscape shimmer, the flat lands.  Well when the plane disappers 9 at 2k there is a circle of shimmer about the size of an icon where the plane should be.

Same problem. Especially bad when trying to pick up Spits and 109s. Lose the dot at about 1500 meters and then just a flashing line. Very hard to pick it back up until about D3 or so.

Ill betcha anything its just a stopgap.

 What im seeing with hi res is a tiny 1 pixel dot (can see flicker in zoom?) at very long range. Then when it hits icon range turns into that big black square. Finally turns into an actual plane. Not sure at what range
Have also seen the cloaking device but not every time.

I'm thinking about turning off the hi-res.  I'm having trouble making out my targets and it's costing me kills.  It's too bad, because everything else in hi-res is great.

I uninstalled AH & downloaded the full version,thinking maybe it was a problem with the patch. Still see Black Squares for cons and dont see a damn thing under D2..

Also i install DX7 the day before but it didnt affect v.33 just v.34..

So as it stands i cant fight what i cant see  

Will uninstall DX7 and go back to DX6.1a see if that helps. Otherwise im grounded till this problem is solved.

Also am using Hercules TNT 16meg card..
