Powell is a politican. If he wanted to run either party would be happy to have him.

Clinton was a poor white trash son of a drunk, he worked his way up in the world through education.

Another great example is the late Paul Wellstone who was only a teacher when he entered the senate...

But if you want to naively belive that only wealthy people or weathly families can get into politics then thats your choice..

Good point!!  I wont be satisfied till 1/2 the Senate is made up of homeless bums, struggling single mothers and lower class 7/11 night shift clerks..

Has it ever dawned on you that it takes a certain preseverance and  drive to get into high office and that ofen that same drive makes politicians succesful in other ventures, often their finances?

Oh no, its much easier to build up a vast conspiracy that keweps you out of the rightful power you deserve...

its the government elite and chances are your not one of them.

Just look at kerry and all his wealth.  The guy is corrupt before he wakes up each morning.

Lol, Bush introducing tax cuts that favored him considerably was discarded as quickly as possible by the board conservatives but the simple circumstance that Kerry (or his wife) is wealthy makes him corrupt.

Lol Curly, most of the judges are pretty politically set.  Scalia won't wake up one day and think that the democratic side is the right one.

If they're all republicans at the hunting group, then politics won't come up.

Now, if they had invited one of the liberal judges, then you can call it into question.

Then you don't understand how politics works.  Politics is about shared interests, mutal advantages, common goals.  And when a powerful jurist snuggles up with the good old boys, any resemblance to a free and open society vanishes and we need to be concerned.

Well, Moe is in the main arena most nights and Larry (Nimitz) is sort of on a scavenger hunt for money (as near as I can tell.) :)

Just because unmeployed homeless bums are representative of French population don't assume that it's the case n the USA...

And here i thought yiu were sophiaticated worlly cosmopolitian european, instead ur really quite provintial in your views.. :)

However, going on the assumption that france boldly lets it government be run by homeless buns sure does explain a lot.. ;)

Sadly giving the trend you showed lately I don't know if it's a joke of not :(

To make my post clearer  :
  • it was not an anti-american post
  • I pretend there is more poor than politi-tard in general (sentence I beilieve to be true all around the world.

I am provincial GRUN and I'm pretty proud of it :)

I know the values of the peasant how they work hard for a pretty low income and I share some of their view (but not the low income , I'm not mad :))

My trend lately? Look at the the types opf posts i've had to respond to lately, people cheering at the deaths of US soldiers in iraq and elsewhere at the hands of "freedom fighters."

But yes it's a joke, hence the repeated use of smilies and ;). And no  I didnt take it as anti usa post. :)  <---- This means I'm not mad at you, ok? :) :)

As usual more bull, lies, and propoganda from people who never even had the inclination to want to serve their country. All they do is mess everything up, they are their own worse enemies.
