Frame 1 Orders sent

I received an e-mail from cando about someone else (his X.O.?) doing the frame orders this time around. Did you know that? He said he was going to forward them to him so I am pretty sure it was taken care of, but you might want to follow up on it.

I have received the orders and sent out an email to all Allied squads for a/c requests.  

I'm trying to not be overwhelmed...just as I'm attempting to figure out the Squad Ops C.O. stuff I find I've been promoted to DOW squad secretary!  I wonder what responsibilities that requires

I do have two points to clarify.  

1.  Can the B-17's take formations?

2.  The frame instructions mention "squadron strength (12 min)".  Does this mean if I assign a squad with only 9 pilots to a certain aircraft, I need to get 3 other pilots to fly that aircraft?  Or do I have to assign an entire additional squad to the aircraft?
