Just curious as to who has quit drinking and for how long. I will reach 20 years without alchohol this summer.

Stony, if it was a problem for you, and you had the courage and willpower to quit, you should be proud.  Salute..!

You know, it's been so long it doesn't bother me anymore. I haven't even had an inkling of an urge to drink ever since I stopped. I've also quit smoking pot(23 yrs.), drinking caffiene(20 yrs.) and smoking cigarettes(30 yrs.). The only vices I have now are Thomas Kemper root beer and oreo blizzards from Dairy Queen. Oh, and Aces High, which I'm going to take a sabbical from this summer(too busy to play).

;)

You mean no drinking?  At all?  If this counts then 7 months. Had 1 glass of Champagne on New Years. 1 glass of Wine sometime. And 1 homemade beer that our neighbors made and wanted an opinion on. Only things I have had since Oct 22nd 2003. Dont have the urge really.

I used to drink daily and a TON of em at that.

I do drink Dr. Peppers like there is no tomorrow though. LOL:lol

Is there a better soda than Dr. Pepper? I think NOT!
