Howdy guys
I hope everyone is doing well. I don't visit the AH forums much. But when I do it is rather nice to see so many of my old friends. So here is a little gift to you all...I don't want anyone to think Im still not a P51 addict

It is time once again to display your favorite p51 photos

Daddy,

Question on the pic w/ 51-B and Spit.

Where was the picture taken and when?

Thanks,

Judging by the HL on the side of the Spit, it must belong to the 31st FG.  Knowing this, it must be at San Severo, Italy during early 1944 when the 31st FG was converting from the Spitfire IX to the P-51B.

Isabell 3, a p51 that was flown in the 357th FG by a Kiwi pilot Flt Lt. Jack Clelland.
