Some of usefull feachers for night in AH:

  • Moon - should be option for setup full moon or half, non like for evning, time settings.
  • Rockets/bombs for lighting the area at night  to light the target.
  • ACKs dependent on daylight - no reason for ACKs to have same accuracy at day and at night. Same about day when you come from sun direction or/and you are in the clouds. ACKs should not see you when you in clouds.
  • Searchlight from the ground at night
  • Landing lights on the bases (when landing send the request to turn on landing lights .lightson 127 2m30sec)
  • Icons range dependent on time - 6.0 for day, 3.0 fo dusk, and 1.5 for moon night less for night without moon
  • Night fighters equiped with radar.

This is a very good Idea, I miss having night around, and with the lights and stuff the game will be a whole lot more fun then it already is.

i was thinking about icon ranges yesterday..my thoughts took me along this path..
you can think of icon range as a sphere around the aircraft, 6k in all directions, what i thought was how much better it would be if the sphere was more squashed on top. in other words icon range is advantage for the higher aircraft...

what about luminious algae in ship wakes?
