AGW OT is Up Again

Yes, I think I will make the journey again. I  may fly this time, though. 15 hours in the car gets to be a little much.

Heh, I still think about that scenario in WB where we flew P-38's together. That was the most nail-biting experience I've ever had in a flight sim.

Udie, it's a right wing circle jerk with Datter as the pivot man. MG was just the first, but watch- anyone who "offends" the sensibilities of this group will get voted off.

umm whats funny is that cabby doesnt want MG banned.  Take a look westy.

Plus cabby is an ok guy, stands up for what he believes in and doesnt back down.  Compare that to mg.

hehe Dude I've watched Datter moderate his UBB's for about 4 or 5 years now.  Goagw isn't the first site he's run.  In that time I've seen him ban one other person.  That was about 3 years ago, this guy named "Blair" from ww2ol.  He was just about as bad as mg.   Hmm I think Datter was pretty clear on the rules when he started the board up.  Dude you need to take a break or something from the net.  Not every UBB is the hill to fight your battle for free speach on!  Sometimes you're the one that comes off looking tardish.

That is still one of my all time favorite senarios.  I had no idea how stressful/rewarding being a flight leader could be!  Remember Zappa?  That dude had me on long distance for like 2 hours almost every frame! $$$$  I'd get a bad crick in my neck after those missions holding the phone with my shoulder while fighting :D

Cool about the con!  I'm not sure yet because I'm unemployed and the job I thought I had fell through yesterday!   So I'm about to go in to scared and freaked out mode again.  Hopefully I'll have it all straight by the con though.  Would be nice to see ya again and buy you a beer at the 5pm happy hour :D

I think goagw is a better place without mg, and I think the world would be the same without mg, but I am a little mean that way.

mg provided nothing positive or meaningful to agw, so why would anyone want him around?  it's not like you can have a decent discussion or arguement with him.  he is just a raving acchole

I agree Dago.  MG added nothing of value to AGW OT but then again IMO neither did Cabby.    All of which is a moot point I imagine as I won't be signing up there nor reading anymore.   I just couldn't pass up commenting on what I see as blatant hypocrisy.

Switching to related subject matter for a moment...

IMO both AH and WB's (@ AGW) would be FAR better off without OT forums.  Community spawned boards, such as Check-six, provide a far better venue for the players to talk about guns, war, politics and pr0n. And it benefits the company behind the product as much, if not more, by removing a noticable source of negative interaction which can get associated with the game.

There's something we agree about Westy.  I can't believe that this OT is still here and I can't believe the AGW  was just now shut down.  I know I've been guilty of saying some pretty venomous stuff but there have been others who have said worse and been more consistantly worse.   Can't be an image a company would want associated with thier product.

Tried to register, still can'y post.

Did they inherit "ban-lists" from iEN? I still can't even read bulletin boards hosted on warbirdsiii.com

I found out that I missed many things since our team was "damned" by "Jay and Silent Dan"...

Speaking of the stool!

AFAIR you had more than one run in with more than one HTC employee here and was asked to leave, if not booted.

I will have to say, of all the diverse personalties I have met online since 1994, that Westy is probably the biggest tool of all.  That is not to say that I would not like him(you) in person, but the ambiance of his(your) postings leads me to that conclusion, on the face of it.

Don't take it personally, Westy, I don't know you well enough for that to happen.
