Well from what I understand Intel in AZ makes lots of chips.

If Texas secedes, I sure hope the annex AZ.  Plenty of migrant workers here.  Lots of guns and ammo for a militia, and a big hole in the ground in northern AZ to throw all the  unwanted people/stuff in.

I always thought that florida was the front legs and Texas was the pee pee.  If we annexed Mexico it would be a great big pee pee.  kind of like my own.

As best as I recall, Texas reserved some rights when it joined the union.  I don't think seceding was one of them (might be,) but they have right to break Texas into 7 (think that's right) states.

Since this was before the civil war, I have no idea if those rights still exist.  Anyone know?

Just The Facts we can become 5 states.

Congress approved the annexation on 28 February, 1845. On 29 December, 1845, Texas ceased being an independent nation and now has representation as a state as defined by the U.S. Constitution. Both the Joint Resolution for Annexing Texas and The Ordinance of Annexation contains this language providing the basis for forming up to four additional states from the present Texas:
  New States of convenient size not exceeding four in number, in addition to
  said State of Texas and having sufficient population, may, hereafter by the
  consent of said State, be formed out of the territory thereof, which shall
  be entitled to admission under the provisions of the Federal Constitution;

After living in arizona for 6 years I relocated to Texas (sherman).  My biggest surprise about the state was when I met a mexican there that talked with a REAL thick suthern drawl.  Most hispanics that I knew in arizon spoke both languages and had a bit of an accent.  It was a real surpise to  me after living in arizona that this guy didnt even know spanish.

Truth be told most Texans (hispanic or otherwise) are VERY proud to be called Texans.   That's more than I can say for any other state that I've lived in.

Secondly  Intel my not make chips in texas but If you think a puter or calculator or any other appliance that uses an IC can get by on just intel (even though most ICs are manufactured over seas) you are sadly mistaken.

 Individual states rights ceased to exist in April of 1865.

You took the "we" to mean Texas?  I took it to mean the US (translation - Texas and the 49 other states).

And no Im southern but not Texan.  I have never been to Texas but I want to get there some day as I have heard some really good things.

Now lets focus on my pee pee joke - that was damn funny!

I heard something about this too although not sure that it is still true but that Texas could divide itself into 4 states, and I think California could also iirc
