You see this so called "neoconservative" movement grew out of a tight knit group of anti-fascist eastern european socialist jews living and studying in New York during the 1930s. Somehow by the 1960s and 1970s these leftists had seen the true anti-American anti-democratic anti-freedom evil of the left and migrated right in their views, and so "neoconservatism' was born.
So you see my friends why the leftists and communists of today are so obsessesd with with the "neocons." They are the bird that got away....
