Thought provoking movie

Normally I don't post things like this - but I was genuinely moved by the latest IL2 movie made by a fella named THX1138. Its a short preview of his work in progress. He has a talent at striking up emotions that for many have been long since devoid perhaps for 60 + years. His trailer brings out the true nature of war - not for how well the story was told but for what it ingrained in every sensor I had in my body, filling it with ...inspiration, and hope. This is a cartoon to some, but it has the strength of any great NOVEL and I encourage you to just take a chance... watch, and listen.

Considering there was no shot of Tom Cruise saving those pommy buggers from a germanic rogering, it wasn't a bad vid

good video - He clipped those shots from a HIstory Channel special - IL2 looks so good it almost looks real.

I'm starting to feel and urge to discuss the Rugby World Cup again.

Anyway - I thought Tom Cruise was only going to show us how he saved Britain next year?

Bah. Didn't they do that with U-538 or something?  

 Either way I don't know if they'll be able to this years epic drama depicting a small band of merry, macho and very patriotic young American lads, lead by Brad Pitt, who help the bumbling and hapless Greeks conquer Troy.
