Dog Training manuals

Any1 here have succes in self training?
I really want this dog to run the perimeter...Attk any stranger who walks up to door..(ok ..just bark)

and basically be a good wacth dog..

I have seen shepards and dobermans that were highly trained..
I know soem dogs are just dumb..does this have to be?
I really would not like to spend $140 on a dog train-class...


So any1 have good experince?
Btw is a American PB


Its my business partners dog..hes 14 months old now..

I just want him to wacth our storage area bettr

Dude Dude he really needs a pro traing a pit!
Can you imagine if for whatever reason the dog gets trained the WRONG way!

I have an Akita and she needed no training for guard duty it is just natural to her.

And at 100lbs she can handle most situations just fine.

I love pits but often they are abused to make them aggresive .

They are good dogs with bad owners sometimes.

Akitas seldome bark.
They are very quite dogs If they do bark It's for a very good reason.
