Ch Pedals
« on: April 30, 2004, 05:04:59 PM »
I have an opportunity to purchase these pedals and would like to know people's opinion on whether there is any benefit to using these instead of the twist feature on my joystick.

A. If you have CH Pedals would you buy them again?

B. What are the benefits of using Pedals?

I am not interested in Brand comparisons because I am locked in on the CH USB Pedals.

I appreciate your input.

A: Yes. I have the USB pedals from CH and am very happy with them.

B: I have never used a twisty stick, but I can tell you that pedals are worth it. The differential brakes with the CH pedals are very handy in planes that are tough to launch straight too.

I just purchased some pedals a few weeks ago and I'll tell ya they will mess you up good and proper for awhile I feel like a noob flying around with them.  But I can already tell that once I get used to them completely they will be an improvement.

i have ch pedals along with saitek x45. they are wonderful. i used the rocker rudder on the x45 before i got em. big difference! a great product in both durability and performance, well worth the money and i would certainly buy them again. this is coming from someone so cheap that i only buy my head sets from radio shack when they are on sale for about 3 bucks, hehe.

another wonderful thing about this piece of equipment is you can repair them yourself if needed.

Snocone, that would explain why you're still using an X45 stick :). Shame to pollute a good CH pedal with an X45. I went through too many X45's.:D

A. Yes - have had mine for 5 years still going strong.

B. After a couple of weeks you forget they are there and both ACM and to me more importantly gunnery are far, far better.

I bought CH pedals in the summer of '97. Since then I've gone through 6 sticks of various makes but the pedals keep working just fine.

I have the pedals and the throttle and have made a big difference for me now all i need is to get the ACM lol.

1. How do you get the brakes to work?

2. How do you get all the buttons on the throttle to work i have a logitech twisty stick and for some reason i can only get the one hat switch and three buttons to work on the throttle?
