Thanks to all,

Couple of things that could be done to imorove the setup:
[list=1]
  • ACKs hardness increase it to 100-200 lb to prevent easly land grabbing
  • Increase amount of troops required to field capture from 10 to 15 or even more.
  • Players - come fly for Egypt and RAF ;)

Thanks

i dont think ack should be increased cuz maned ack would be inpossable to kill. just make it so u need 25 troops to take a base and town buildings up in 15-20 mins so ull need more then 2 or 3 ppl to take a base.

Actually fields do not have towns every maproom inside the base near tower and you need to kill all acks to bring troops - that is the reason to increase the ACK hardness.

25 troops maybe....... it will be better.

oh yea i forgot they have no towns then hell make it 35 troops but like i said all u have to do if u increase ack hardness is just jump into a manable ack and u could kill 10-15 planes before they could kill u even then u could just jump into anouther manable ack and do it all over again so please dont increase the ack hardness theres already alot of ppl complainin bout the setup i dont think we need anymore. :aok

Slight change was made today.  It was brought to my attention that A28 is infact in Jordan.  So I moved the B-17's to A6, formations still disabled.  This change has been reflected in the MOTD.

You got your setup forced down peoples throat that didnt want to fly it. Now your going to tell us which side to fly on? This just keeps getting better.:lol

Buddy - first look at the smile after "come fly for Egypt and RAF"

Actually what I have seen last time the numbers are equal (there some other setups with ratios of 2:1 so it is not problem of this setup as I thought at the beggining)

Secondly - if there is setup I do not like I do not come and tell you are forcing us fly bad setup.

We are all different people and like different setups.
We should be much more tolerant to each other prefenences......
At least that what I think.

"forced down people's throats"

Very well put Lowe, this is exactly what happened.  But ya can't blame Artik for wanting to see his idea of a good setup pushed through.  You have to lay the blame on the lame and weak CT staff that decided to run this set up even though it was BLATANTLY obvious that most of the CT "regulars" were against it.

Stay out of the CT this week is the best advice I have for getting this point across.  Use the time to check out the MA, another sim or take your squad to the DA for some training.

Running this setup to appease the 6 Israeli guys who are in the CT at 2pm EDT at the cost of pissing off the 40 or so guys that are on prime time makes a lot of sense to me.

Nice job Soulyss.

This is terrible, last set I killed the Bug twice (once while he ran for his ack).  I was hoping to do it again this week.

However this is in celebration of your countrys Independance Day.
So I should act my age long enough to congradulate you guys on 56 years of independance. Enjoy the setup.:aok

Hey Arlo............ Thebug wants the blue one to match his Royal Navy uniform. I'll take the green one since I'm a Green Heart. That leaves you the pink one big guy. I do appreciate you offering us the use of your spares.:D
