I thought you were complaining that everyojne was making a joke of Furbal quiting the forums.


I figured it did not mater if they were, nothing is going to change by debating the way people on the boards behave.

What I mean by that is it is a no win for Skuzzy.

If Skuzzy bans all the trouble makers, he get called a facist who does not want to allow freedom of speech and if he leave them people complain the board is all about trolling and jerks.

Yes, Skuzzy is in an unenviable position, but the OT is a cesspool.  Very little about it is fun.  AH is a game, its forums should keep this in mind.

Okay never mind.

Let me tell ya a story of a would-be post gone potentially WAY bad.

I'm thinking "fun... fun... okay he wants posts about fun. What is fun? I've GOT it! Slip 'n Slide! Those yellow plastic  things you roll out in your front yard, douse with water, take a good running start and jump onto... sliding your way into summery goodness.

So far so good...

So I do a quick google image search and locate a pic of the fantastic Slip 'n Slide, copy the url and post the pic here.

So I whip it all together and hit the submit button.

Seems okay on the surface, but then I actually notice the juxtaposition of my words with the image, and how horrifying it actually becomes.

The picture is of two pre-pubescent boys and one pre-pubescent girl in swimsuits having a gay old time on the slip 'n slide.

My text: "Fun? WOOT! Just 2 short months until some of this action!"

I am a LOOOSER! :D

And knowing you sick bastards, in all likelihood this would-be post would have long-term ramifications such that Dowding's April 1st joke would be an immediate distant memory.
