If you look at this film you will notice several times that these 2 people (spit and p51) were shooting BEHIND ME, not even close on my FE and i was taking damage... can someone explain this to me??

The 51 and Spit didn't appear warpy in the film.  It does appear as if the Spit disabled tracers and made a few nice snapshots on some 400-600 yard passes.

Did you notice any tracers during the fight itself?

Go back and watch that film with trails on.

The spit got one snapshot, but it was the pony that handed you your ass.  He nailed you good the first time, and also delivered the killing blow.  Both of those looked to me like he had lead.  The spit got a snapshot, but that's it.

Don't forget, if you are waiting to see him pull lead, you will never see it.  The nature of the Internet means that even with solid connects (and everybody in the film is SOLID) there is a time delay between what you see and what he see's.  This means that you will die before it looks like he had lead to shoot you.  In addition, it takes quite a while for damage to show on your FE.  He has to get the image of where you are, then shoot that image, which goes to the host.  Host then needs to send you the damage, and the damage needs to register on your FE.  All of this can take up to a second.  It's just the way it is.

In this case however, I didn't see anything that even looked wacky.  You just got beat fair and square.  You were concentrating on the spit while the Pony lined you up and hammered you.  Such is life in a 2v1.  Actually I was surprised you survied the Pony's first pass.  He pasted you quite well.

Uhh I didn't know P51 had cannons... the last shot that took off my wing was done by a cannon not .50 cal.  btw that spit shot me, correct, but the damage showed up like 1-2 second later. (on the snapshot that i died). this has never happened to me before and i find it a little strange but i suppose it was just lag.

2v1s are usually no problem for me but if theres delays like that its hard...

p.s. I also 'pasted' that P38 and P51 pretty well you didnt seem to notice that.

And they were both using tracers.

Well if you were not using tracers, it's no wonder I didn't see you hit 'em.  I also wasn't watching the film to see you hit them, but the other way around.  I watched the film looking out teh back of your plane and watching the trails to see what the aspects were when the shots were taken.

1-2 seconds delay between a hit and the damage being done on your machine is not uncommon.  It's a good thing for you, bad for the other guy.  You should have been dead earlier.

I still think it was the Pony that finished you, but whatever.  It didn't "have" to be cannon that finished you.  If one wing root absorbed enough damage from previous hits, a single bb would blow your wing off.  Or did I mis-understand you?

Anyway... whatever.  Nothing looks weird to me at all in that film.  <shrug>

I guess what Nath means is that the last hit that rips off the wing plays a cannon hit sound.

Nath is right.
the last hit, that took off his wing, was a cannon shell.

also, if you look at the nose of the spitfire, he clearly was not anywhere near nose on nath's plane.

Though I will agree that its surprising that he lived through that initial pony burst it was a solid one.

But still I think this is an excellent film showing a fight 3v1 and almost winngin in a non uber plane

Dunno bout that one!  Seems I have had many good hits on planes with the pomny six 50s and I dont get anywhere near consistent results.  Sometimes they blow up out right, other times nothing even manages to fall off.
Cannon equipment OTOH seems real consistent on the receiving end :P

Damned frustrating actually, and the lag these past few days has been real problamatic for me.

Im not surprised at all after watching the film.

Looking at enemys tracers is nothing but having yourself killed
You don't see real path of their bullets or amount of it..
if you do, you'll see it in wrong place where it was already half second ago or so on depending on lag between two of you.
