This is good to see I thought I just sucked really bad at taking off with a full load, auto or manual.

Keep in mind that from early '44 on USN CV's used their catapults to shoot aircraft off, which we dont have. The History channel show on the F4U had film of it, an F4U-1D with 2 bombs (donno what size) and a DT on the centerline litterally leaped into the air using the cat, but it was very hard to see the harness even though I was looking for it.
