but nail guns do.  Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch.

Six nails embedded in the skull of construction worker Isidro Mejia, 39, after an industrial incident caused a nail gun to shoot nails into his head and brain on April 19, 2004, are seen in this X-ray image from Providence Holy Cross Hospital in Los Angeles. Five of the six nails were removed in surgery that day and the sixth was removed from his face on April 23, after the swelling went down.

Incident? What sort of 'incident' causes a nail gun to move about a man's head, wildly popping nails into him from a multitude of angles?

I'm gonna guess that this incident had a first and last name, wore a hard hat, and probably wasn't too fond of poor Isidro.

Same thought here. They don't just start spitting nails randomly.

Hairy? I've seen your picture Txmx...

We use over 50 thousand nails per day here. Nail guns need to be in contact with the receiving surface to overcome the safety switch. Assuming the safety switch was taped down or some other idiotic bypass was used, the gun would need to have the trigger pulled too.

I read this in the paper today, it's true as far as i know.
"Willy's gone and made another,
Something like it's elder brother-
Wing tips rounded, spinner's bigger.
Unbraced tailplane ends it's figure.
One-O-nine F is it's name-
F is for futile, not for fame."

MT is correct.. even ancient passloads would rarely fire even once if dropped just right... mostly they just broke..

Even if you used a stick to hold down the foot and pulled the trigger  those things don't have enough power to penetrate a skull from more than a few feet away..  Nails lose velocity and stability quickly launched from nail guns..

Besides... hard to get even a 2 foot group out of em at 5 yards.
