Almost 2 weeks back I landed 8 assists in a B-model pony, very next mission I upped a 262 and landed 6 kills... I don't like to share. :D

Re Lavochkins I often wonder..............

If you set them very long then the shells should never be more than 400mm apart (in theory). If you set them very short then after the sweet spot they begin to diverge wider and wider.........

However many an AH la pilot will still fuss over a setting somewhere between 250 and 400.


My comment re convergence was a generic one unrelated to my observations re yaks and lavochkins

I usually get more assists in the 9t than the 9u due to the fact that it only take 1 hit from the 9t to bring a plane down, but some other person could put 50 rounds in and not damage them.

Flew a 202 a few times, it's an assist machine.

Suprised no one mentioned the KI 61.  

Beautiful plane, love to fly it, might as well be firing Nerf balls at them for all the good it seems to do me.

I've landed 7 kills in said assist machine... its the pilot, more so than the plane. :D
