THE SKY IS NOT THE LIMIT. 75 IS.
 
As of May 28, 1999, Montana has a posted speed limit - just like every other state.

Is there any statistics as to traffic deaths going down because of the lower speed limit?

that's news.  they didn't used to have speed limits.  are they enforced?
