...what you like about the flight model in AHII, so far, please. I've not yet been able to fly it, and won't untill I get a new 'puter. And I don't know when that'll be. I've read a couple of threads where people have compared AHII's f/m to that of Il2-FB without going into detail...just that they think Il2 sucks. Personally I like Il2FB offline (can't fly online with current 'machine). Somebody gimme some "ferinstances", please? What's your fav ride in AHII and why?

I prefer the flight model and gunnery model in FB AEP, the reason why I play AH more than AEP is because the game play in AH is far more immersive and a lot more fun - in AEP even on servers like Greater Green or the Virtual server from Finland it all seems a bit pointless - there's no real goal, just fly around for a while and shoot a few people then land....

As far as planes I tend to use fast a/c with good guns since I fly alone most of the time - Tiffie, 109 G10, P51D for a little ground pounding.

Schad...thanks for your input. I tend to agree with the above quote: the P51 is my sentimental favorite; I'll fly it even in situations where another plane might be a better choice. Not many people will try to turn-fight a Spit or Lala in a Pony, but I will. I'd rather die fightin than running:D Right now I'm only flying in the H2H arena. Most of the time that arena sucks, but even a chronic dweeb like me can rule, whereas in the MA I get flamed routinely.

1. Pay your sub and come on into the pond!

2. Get onto country channel - Say I'm new and could do with winging for a while - am sure someone will assist.

3. I fly most weekends - mostly Rooks under the nic Schaden - look me up anytime.

4. Ignore the morons - we were all new once, some of remember what it was like is all - a guy called Wingnut helped me out and showed me how to fly a Dr1 in Red Baron online many kills ago - I'd be happy to pass on the favour by helping someone else out.

I honestly could'nt tell ya. After the 15th or 16th download I quit bothering. Believe it or not, not everyone has a DSL or Cable connect.

After beta 21 or something my video driver quit supporting it for some "mistyrious" reason. It's a rather good, up-to date one too!
It keeps flickering (they already warned for that) They recommended downloading direct X 9.0 or something so I downloaded it, but during the installation; I already had direct X 9.0!!!
