From Nick's Dad.

Quote
His comments contained some new information, including word of prior contact between Nick Berg and the FBI over a year ago when it turned out he had loaned his computer to a man whom the FBI was watching as a potential terrorist. The elder Berg claims his son was cleared of any connection to the man, whom he met on a bus.

Has anyone read that the guy's sister, now dead, was married to an iraqi? Berg had visited his brother-in-law in Iraqi prior to his kidnapping..??

The more you find out, the stranger this guy's story gets.

From that old unreliable Fox News

Quote
A senior law enforcement official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Berg volunteered information about the 2002 investigation when he was detained in Iraq. The official said that an e-mail address traced to Berg had been used by an unidentified individual with purported connections to terrorism.

The investigation showed that Berg had never met the suspect individual and had not given the e-mail address to that person. Investigators concluded that Berg's e-mail address had been spread among dozens of people with links to the university.

What gets me, is the AQ guys -the key guys...never disguise themselves on video, so why would he announce who he is, but cover his face? I don't admire these guys at all, but they're not cowardly. Just seems odd, that's all.

Lastly, I'm still perplexed why these homeboys were wearing sneakers..with all their beer guts, they could be the "King of the Hill" cast for all we know.

And yes, Sixpence, this IS all your fault...
