Nope, no barrier Steve, and therein lies a bit of a problem.  Last night a CV showed up off of the knit base, and without the usual late-war buffhorde (only Bostons and Ju-88's) to attack it things were pretty lopsided.  

I think a buch of extra shore batteries and PT spawns would go a long way toward discouraging close-in CV approaches.

How much more of a lopsided fight can one have now?

SpitVs' Vs P40s, weak 109s 205s... The only thing that can hold its own there in a gang bang furball atmosphere as we have on that island now is the hurri2c and the SpitV

None of this bothers me. I just dont see what it accomplished is all :)

The little Macci 205 kicks the Spit V's prettythang so bad it's not funny. Co-alt and co-E a 205 can tear it up.

I used to be pretty happy merging with zeeks and all and busting caps on first merge. But a 205:eek:
