AH 2 help please

I have attempted to download ver. 30 several times.  It loads OK, but will not open.  Every time I click on the icon it opens the initialization process and won't open the game.  I also downloaded the latest version of direct x9 which has done nothing to change my problem.

Dusty, you mean the game won't download?? Or won't run?

If your running into Init errors, go into AH2 directory, find settings folder, find video8.cfg. Rename to video8.bak.

Reboot your machine.

Try again, at least it has a chance.

If you still get init error you are probably running into either a sound card or video card problem.

System specs would help.
example I'm running

AMD 1.67 ghz with 128 mb ram on Abit Kd7a mboard.
Saphire radeon 9000 pro 128mb video
PCI512 sound card
running win 98 se

Hiya Dusty - are you Dusty from AW?  If so you might remember me better as Helen, the former Game Assistant there.  

Dusty, you need to download the whole version if you have not tried it before, as V30 is only an update if you have the previous 29.  This is the link to the full version:  http://downloads.hitechcreations.com/AH19930.EXE
