Okay, One last time....
« on: May 16, 2004, 01:46:29 AM »
Okay I am going to try to do something this week, a mission that would involve more than my squad.  If you are interested in doing it please reply to this thread.  It will be an escort mission,  limited info will be leaked out.  This will run on Thursday night... All Squads and none squad individuals invited to join in.  Please reply to this thread by Monday so things can be organized.  I hope we have a good turn out for it.

Hopefully we can get someone on the Axis side to get things organized over there too...

This will be the Target Area anything in this area is a potential target

Glad you decided to give it a spin Stream.  Thanks.

Okay I was thinking about this lastnight and came up with this... there will be an altitude cap for both fighters and bombers.  This is to not prolong the 3 hour climb out and get strait to it.

Fighters will have an altitude cap of 30,000 FT
Bombers will have an altitude cap of 20,000 FT

Victory conditions:

Allies must hit targets with 80% damage to it and RTB 40% of bomber pilots.

Axis must down at least 50% of the bomber numbers, so if there are 10 bombers you need to down 5.  Now I mean a flight of bombers all 3, will count as 1 Kill, unless we turn off formations.

One last thing, I was wondering if we could get Dot dar and Group Dar turned off... just have the radar running so it flashes when planes get into radar range.  Plus get Strat turned on just to get BDA's.

If it is like 20 allies or axis to 10, lets try to balance it out to make it a little even for both sides..

This is just a rough outline... would like some thoughts on it.

*punt*

And also I plan on being online Thursday night and will drag along any squaddies I can find.  Willing to fly a fighter where needed, either side.

I'll be there for sure, don't know about the rest of VF-17.  What is the start time.  ALso, your target area is too small, not sure I can hit it.

I would say that wheels up time realisticly would be around 10:15est or later. Just need some Buff pilots if no one steps forward I guess I can have my guys do it.  More info will follow tonight.

Hmmm...thats cutting it close for me but I will drive a buffer to free your guys up as much as possible. Also without my new seat finished yet its a pain in the neck, back and tail section to fly as a fighter. At least as a buffer I can relax and just punch buttons. :D

This is all if I am able to get there and get up in time for the mission to roll.
