I find It funny to see people posting about how there are NO WMD'S in Iraq!

Just a detail, but the only world leader that said, prior to invasion, Iraq didn't have WMD's was Saddam.

I believe it is important to keep in mind that the debate at the time the decision was made was whether to delay military action and allow sanctions to continue.  

20/20 hindsight is a wonderful but a very common thing.

I think it's important to note that this has been discussed to death, and it ought to be let go, at least until the next CNN update. Maybe not at all till something relevant is found out.

The O'Club is what it is, but gaddamn people, it's becoming, even when the latest news can't be cut and pasted, a tard-tank for reasons to, just POST.  And old crap at that.

I mean, the news is fine to discuss, but doesn’t anyone here do anything outside of politics that is in the least interest of the AH community? When I go have beers with my friends, we don’t argue and talk politics, we talk about stuff we did that week or want to do in the future. Sometimes sports, sometimes hobbies, etc.

Certainly everyone here is into computers, has families, and does other things than watch CNN and get excited about politicians and their pitiful fake stances.

I’m not asking for a Political Forum, because some restraint and common sense would make it unnecessary. I just don’t get what drives people to argue politics on a flightsim BBS. Your audience is limited to about 20 people. I think it’s the small crowd where you can garner expected responses, so you can go round and rounds and be able to post.

Give the couple hundred more a break that don’t care.

If Iraq had WMDs, they would have been used on U.S. troops as we attacked Baghdad.

There are no WMDs in Iraq.  At most, there may have been a WMD program in place in the mid 90s.
