AH2 Version Beta 30
1) System details:
Dell Dimension 8300 (5-month-old computer).
Pentium 4 3GHz
256MB DDR ATI Radeon 9800 XT
512 MB RAM
Windows XP
DirectX 9.0b
2) Clipboard map "radar" showed grey "squares" and "dots". I have these set for red and green as in AH1.
3) When online, planes on / right above terrain surface have their descriptive labels disappear below the terrain. This effect can't be intentional, as it is negated when you fly inverted (text can then be seen). When flying in steep bank, half of text can be seen.
4) Gunsight glass is darker than AH1 in Bf109G10 and therefore (unrealistically) much harder to see through.
5) Gear-up sound is muted in forward view, compared to other views.
6) Video freezes from time to time. This didn't occur in AH1. My frame rate is 70-80, so can't be that. I do have bad DSL connection today (50-80 Kbps), but is still better than dial-up.
