39 here, can't even rememer being 30. The thing is, you will always feel like you are in your 20's.......your body just will not cooperate anymore.

NO BLOODY WAY!

what did your parents have children when they were 15?

I've always pegged you at about my age!!!

I'm........er...stunned.

I'll take that as a compliment.

There are a few pics of my old mug floating around. I'm 46, turn 47 in Sept.

Happy birthday medic, 30 was hard for me too. Not sure why but it was. When I turned 50 I felt like I had arrived. 40 was a piece of cake. As long as you are having birthdays you can continue to wonder, question, and gripe. It's when they stop that you have to worry.

You will find, however, that your mind will continue to write checks that your body can't cash. Deal with it, it's the way it is :)

Ya know... Congrats man...

Lets see, I would rather forget most of my 20's....  The best portion of my life so far has been my '30's (32 in August).  The best part so far, is that I met the woman of my dreams, found the job of a lifetime, and am generally happy with life.  Negatives of the '20's:

diagnosed with prostate cancer (late 28)
watched my brother dying slowly of addiction (the lord took him in my early 30 year as an act of mercy)
married and divorced to a psycho
drank too much most of the time
identity theft
had to sell my Stearman because of divorce
lost my house because of divorce
exwife stole over $50k
business partner shrecked me and walked with 200k+

Yeah... I like the 30's, and you will too...

positives for the 30's

met and am going to marry the love of my life
own another airplane!  (f6f 5 yrs from flying)
job of a lifetime
pronouced free of prostate cancer
remember most of what I do the day and NIGHT before
love God
love my life!

Congrats MedicBoy, enjoy!
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.

Turning 28 was the absolute worst for me.

Kinda confusing, but I turned 27 twice.

When I turned 27 the second time, I totally didn't realize that I was already 27... Thought I was 26 still... And whenever I got asked my age, it was "26". Then sometime after my second 27th birthday I did the math and it turns out I was actually 28. Hit me like a sledge hammer... Like I lost a year somewhere.

Oops... Almost forgot why I posted in the 1st place.

Happy 30th medic!!
