"With productivity gains petering out and oil prices near record highs, the inflation bug is back on the Fed's monitor," Sohn said.

On May 4, Federal Reserve policymakers left key short-term interest rates at a 1958 low, but faced with a humming economy, said rates can eventually rise at a "measured" pace.

Some analysts stressed that the core rate of wholesale inflation was subdued.

But "if we are to truly understand inflation, we must include food in the calculus. If we do, the picture is not pretty," said Joel Naroff, independent economist and president of Naroff Economic Advisors.

"Mr Greenspan may want to continue the fiction of the core being the key number, but that is just not realistic," he added.

Positive hmm?  What strk said is equivalent to tellling a girl she has great tits (no attacks since 9/11) but she's uglier than fck (is there anything else that he hasn't screwed up).

As long as strk seems obsessed with Bush (or Bush* in strk-speak) and posts silly or stupid comments then I will tell him he is a tard

Note:  I didn't tell strk to stop posting anti-American threads.  Just the negative ones.  From what I have seen most of his posts are doom and gloom.  Maybe he should be called "Stormcrow" like Gandalf was for predicted war and disaster in the books (not the movies).

There are things to discuss about America that aren't entirely negative.

America has it's deficiencies just as any country does but it would be a positive thread if someone would point out possible solutions rather than just simply point the finger of blame.
