wondering what message is showing when a cv is sunk?..

well igot a good hit on cv twice and they dissapered but the only message is ;"ship is sunk")
hmm shoulda been cv is sunk or what ?

Also what's the deal with capturing CVs.

Just touched the deck of the carrier after perfect landing when it started firing with all guns blazing.

Took me awile to realise it was captured and shooting me as the port changed hands.
