I currently have a intel R 82845G vid card.

1st, do you have a video card, or is it built into the motherboard?
if you have a video card, you need to figure out if it is in a pci or agp slot; agp slots are brown and a different size than the pci slots. You can tell what you have by looking where your card plugs in; if it plugs in on the same plane as the keyboard and mouse, its built in.

There are about a dozen threads in the BBS in various HTC forums about upgrading the video card.  I suggest reading some of them since your question has been answered in great detail a few times already.  Nobody has made a sticky "my integrated video card sucks help!" thread but the other threads are all within the last week or so and should be easy to find.

The Intel graphics chip is not going to work for Aces High II.  It is a very low end chip with limited capabilites.

===========================================

No need to build a new computer.
Get a PCI graphics card.
I run a GF4 PCI card and works fine for AH2.

you probably could have just upgraded the MB and kept the rest of the dinky dell together :)

If it fit the ATX standard then you wouldn't have a problem.  Dell in most cases follow the ATX standard.

You know thats the story of my life....I want the biggest baddest, but just can't seem to afford it, so I end up going somewhere in the middle. My very first computer didn't even have a hard drive, My second one had an 80meg hard drive then I found out it wouldn't support half of the products out there. I have the worst luck when it comes to this. So for $99 I have something I can at least tweak. The Dell will be remanded to e-mail and surfing. and I have found over the years (intregreted anything is usually a POS).....Koda
