Message To SELECTOR (or other Master Skinners)
« on: May 18, 2004, 05:43:58 PM »
I did the tutorials at AlumniumCloud.com and I can produce a pretty nice skin.  However, SELECTOR et al are doing thier rivits (and panel lines) in a very nice 3d way.  I studied your bare metal P-40 skin and I just luv your rivits.  How do you do them?  any tutorials or tips etc...

btw the tutorials at AlumniumCloud.com for rivits is as follows:

1) select smallest brush size and set spacing to 350.
2) click and hold down shft. button and click again to get a line of rivits.
3) copy layer and apply Blur
4) set opacity for each layer

done...any tips for more 3dish effect would be appreach.
