There is a fix for memory limits for 98 here

http://www.majorgeeks.com/

Look for win98se service packs 1 and 2.  Should allow you to run allot more then 512.

Omega drivers are no longer available/supported for 98.
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

Could an antialiasing option be added to the in-game video settings menu?  That way we wouldn't have to go back to the desktop video settings each time we wanted to fiddle with the FSAA settings.

Also, it seems like AF doesn't do much for the game but FSAA blurs text.  Did skuzzy mean AA blurs text, or AF blurs text?  AA definately blurs the text...

Any users try it???

Is it safe?

I have to say the video has gotten much much better since the earlier versions I tried.  I think I have everything set to the minimum(default), but I can live with that for 75 fps.

Also I think I noticed only one studder ( no longer a freeze). I think its close to going gold. Good work HTC - its falling into place.

Suggest "readme" files get read and hell, useless though microsoft help is, it CAN get you through updating drivers and the like.
Which is saying something.

Not too keen on the omega drivers.  I lost 10-15 fps with the omega drivers with my 9600 pro.

I run 1 GB ram using Win98SE. Unless I see a real reason to upgrade to MS's nightmare I'm content to continue along with my existing software.

Wanted to bump this for the quoted reason, better off using http://www.ati.com for driver upgrades if you are a win98/me user
