After being AWOL from AH for several years, I'm going to jump back into the fight

I have finally gotten broadband, which I expect to increase my enjoyment a lot. Since the conversion to AH2 is imminent, I have decided that I would rather install that version than the latest "legacy" version of the original AH.

So here's my questions:

1.) Do I need to install AH1 in order to install AH2?

2.) Is the TA active and operational in AH2? If so, are there any trainers working in there yet? I need EXTENSIVE retraining, LOL

3.) I got the impression from somewhere that you had to go out and get AHVoice.exe and install it separately from the game. But when I click on the link to download it, it doesn't exist. And I can't seem to find it anywhere. Is it now included with the game files? IOW, does it install along with the game?

That's all I can think of for now, thanks for any help you can give me!

Degas just download the AH2 Beta full installation. Currently it's at Beta 34 in the announcement section. There is no training arena right now for AH2. The MA is the only thing active currently. You don't have to download ahvoice for your comm to work in the game. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Cobra. Dang, I just DL'd Beta 33, which was the latest version as of about 5 hours ago

I really do want to spend some time in a TA, though. So I think I'll install the old version first.

Degas, by all means I'd be willing to work with you in the AH2 Beta if you prefer.

If you've got both installed then we'll maybe see you up.
