BOOSH Falls off his bike!

Remember this thread?:

Kerry falls of his bike

"Bush, who was accompanied on his bike ride by his doctor, Richard Tubb, a military agent and a member of the secret service, fell about 16 miles into a 17-mile ride. The accident caused minor abrasions his chin, upper lip, nose, right hand and both knees, but was able to ride back home, said Duffy.

Tubb treated the president on site. Mr Bush, according to Duffy, was wearing a helmet and a mouth guard when he fell.

The dude brings along a helmet, a fricken mouth guard AND his DOCTOR!

Kinda tells me he wasn't too confident in his biking skills. :)

Oh well, you had your Kerry fun over this, time for some more.

From what I've read he can ride a bike. So much so that he's long since stopped using a mouth guard and a trailing team of physicians.

(Kerry was on a 20 mile ride when he hit the patch of sand, btw.)

Was that the patch of sand he voted on before he voted against it?

:rofl

It's easy to do a 20 mile ride when you hit sand after 200 feet and quit.

Bicycles are dangerous vehicles to be on the road when cars are around.   Just last night I was out on my twice a week bike ride, and just as I was nearing the completion of my grueling 4 mile circuit, a car backed out of the driveway not far from my house.

Mind you, this was about 12 midnight, and I had my front and rear strobes going, when the car pulled into the front yard and parked.

I wasn't wearing my glasses, and had my Radio Shack headphones on, when a beautiful blond exited the auto and said "Hi."  It musta been the strobes she liked, but I said hi back, and I thnk she made a comment to furthur the conversation, but I was riding and had the radio on, and looking back at her too.:D

You see a lot of things on a bicycle you don't normally see in a car or on foot.  It's a whole lot better than jogging.  Gives you intervals of rest, and with gears, you can take it easy on yourself if need be.  In my opinion, it's darn good and enjoyable exercise, long as it doesn't become an obsession, as athletes are prone to.

Riding on any main road is asking for trouble if cars are on the road at the same time.

Kerry rides so much that he brings his bike with him on his campaign plane.

Maybe Bush thought he had something to prove.

Either way, if you ride as often as Kerry does, it's a statistical certainty that you're gonna ditch.

What's Bush's excuse?

Now here's a great political debate.

Who's candidate is a better bike rider.

Did you read the link at the top of the thread.

It was the Bush supporters that seemed to think so. Blame them.

Blame them for you starting this thread?

That's great logic.
