I havent been playing AH lately because I cant find the driver for my stupid outdated sound card. So, I think ill go get a new one and upgrade the ram while Im at it.

What is a good sound card at an affordable price? Im not looking for the best of the best...just something that will work well with AH2 and video/sound clips

Also, how much should I expect to pay for a RAM upgrade?

my SB PCI512 should be pretty reasonable by now. It was only 50$ about 15 months ago.  Was lower priced and fewer problems than a Live Value.

Lots of stuff out there, just go educate youreslf.

I'd start by going to pricewatch.com

Find cards in the price range your looking then go research them.
