Ummmmm, I've had a dog or dogs all my life, mostly Blue Heelers, but I've had a few Labs too.
Now, one of my favourite foods is roast chicken, I eat the stuff all the time, and every single time, the whole carcass gets given to the dogs.
I have never had a single problem with it yet, and I would be extremely suprised if I ever do.
There is a 'needle' like bone running down the back of each drumstick that should be removed, but apart from that, dogs,or at least every dog I've ever had anything to do with, can handle chicken bones just fine, cooked, raw, ( or still in the living chicken for that matter), they arent a problem.
Steak or chop bones I would be extremely wary of if they were cooked, but chicken bones arent a problem.
Raw bones of any type are good for your dog.
I have heard this about chicken bones before, but in thirty odd years of seeing dogs eat cooked chicken bones, I have yet to see one have a problem with it.
BTW the reason dogs are so much cooler than people is due to their life motto........if you cant eat it, fight it, f***k it or play with it, piss on it.
In that order.
