I decided to come back to see what all this bru-ha-ha is about AHII. I downloaded the beta and played there yesterday. Ran into a couple of old AW buds..Balsy JSO, Tilt.

I liked it. It runs fine on my PC. 1.6 with 512 ddr, and a 4600nvidia 128mb card. What I noticed most as far as changes was the cool bullet holes in the canopy and the oil smears. I havent played in so long I can't remember what AH1 felt like.

Should I bother d/l the AH1 program, or is AHII about to take over?

no word on when the changeover will occur, only know it's close. so i'd say practice in 2 so you are rdy (way different in 2, gonna be a lot of whineing when comes out)

I think AH2 is fairly imminent, so probably best to stick with that now and get used to it.

Man I was just in beta getting some, getiing got..alot...but its so refreshing to be able to not only kill things you hit, but also be able to get back to the fight in a decent amount of time.

Flossy.."old" was just a friendly nudge...If anyone here is gettin old its me!

The clouds in AH2 are awesome! Can't wait till it goes live!

I hope AH2 Grabs your interest and gets you involved in things. We can always use a guy like yourself to fire things up a bit. Most of your old Pals are in Rookville, for when you get airborne.

Kappa! How ya been?!! Ya Ive been in WW2OL. I like the ground combat there, but have grown to despise the air combat so I thought Id come back here to play. I'll look you up. Im in beta...havent d/l AH1..was advised not to due to AH2 soon to be released. Does "soon" here mean what it does in WW2OL?
