Why do all those other car makers paint their trucks in that bright yellow?  :D

Hell... I can always find someone to go. My kids love it. They want to bring their friends. My wife enjoys it. Lately, we've been going out on Fridays while the kids are at school.

Last Friday in the middle of nowhere (about 65 miles from Ridgecrest, Mr. Skull) :)

I think Nissan started the trend. From what I've read, the yellow was just to be an advertising gimmick. They really didn't expect them to sell, but when they stopped to count, found that 25% of the 2000 models sold were yellow.

The Xterras are all manufactured in the U.S. at Smyrna, Tennessee. IIRC, the truck was designed by americans as well.

Was a joke in reference to a TV commercial for Jeep.
Narrator asks why people make their SUVs that bright yellow color, you see a Grand Cherokee pull into frame, narrator answers;

"So the park rangers can find them"

Jeep has had some pretty cool commercials in the last few years.

I'm on my second Cherokee and really happy with it.

LoL this trip gave me the bug again!

I keep telling myself "No Jon! Bad! Its paid for and has 5 more years on the waranty! Dont be stupid!"

Love a Rubicon but I love my modded 97 TJ more! Greatest vehicle I've ever owned and even though the payments and gas are killing me. I'd go without coffee and rent before I ever sell my TJ.

Need to get one of those stickers, "H2 Recovery Crew" LOL
