It has become so predictable, the rightwingers' "Everybody's against us, poor us, pity us!"- routine(TM). Can't you GOP-lovers just assemble over a few beers and brainstorm about a new approach, it would be so refreshing...

Couldnt you left wing actually state the truth of the matter.  It seems like a old woman can fart half way around the world and the leftist will blame bush for it?

Carry this line of thought a little further...

Then:  Truman Announces Marshall Plan to Rebuild Europe.
Now:  Truman Alienates Stalin with Marshall Plan

Then:  Allied Leaders Shocked by Nazi Death Camps.
Now:  No Weapons of Mass Destruction found in Germany.

Nonsense, Bush has certainly has had his merits and those shouldn't be overlooked or marginalized. He also has made some blatant errors which should be recognized as well, not in the least by himself. Overall, I personally don't agree with a lot of Bush's take on things, that doesn't entitle me to blame everything which moves on him or his admin however.
And a lot of less conservative (leftists probably in your perception) oriented people look upon Bush in the same way, judge him by his acts and decisions, not if we like his appearance, religion, accent, roots etc. The stakes are just too high with a president to allow prejudice to cloud ones judgement, so I think I've always given him a fair chance before discussing his performance (apart from some very obvious jokes of course).
On a final note I would like to think that you, the more conservatives should look at him the same way, objective and with criticism, because I often get the impression that you will support him regardless of his actions, simply because he is  'your' president, if you catch my drift.

just my two euro-cents...
