I admit it: I'm a ST purist/ snob...if it ain't got Bones, Kirk, Spock, et. al....it ain't fer me.

Actually, I've not seen a single episode. Was it any good? My schedule just wouldn't allow time for it.

They totally shrecked it with the opening theme change... apart from that, the storyline that developed in the last episodes is top notch.

I have downloaded the 2 last episodes and gonna watch them tonight. I'll tell you then :)

I watched it fairly reg for the first 4 or 5 eps, then caught some ep with time travel in it.  After that I lost track of the stories.  Wife hates it, which means I won't watch it until she's asleep, and if I'm going to wait that long then I might as well do some AH2.

I hated the new theme song.

I had expectations for Enterprise. Mankinds First steps into space, first meeting with another race (Vulcan).

Maybe a new fresh approach, a wonder and a fear at the vastness of space ?

Tiniest hints of that in the first episode and then ...
the same old tired identical characters and storylines and technobabble, why did they even bother start a new series ?

Absolutely nothing is new.
Enterprise is the definition of creative bankrupcy.

Stopped watching at episode 20 about after they started breaking their own continuity after just a dozen episodes.

Whaddaymean first in space ?  suddenly they have a crewman onboard that grew up on a warp-ship.

IIRC they made a reference to the 'earth fleet' (of spaceships) Duuh ?
